WR John Taylor played for the 49ers from 1987 to 1995 and was an exceptional counterpart to Hall of Fame teammate Jerry Rice during that time - arguably one of the greatest tandems in 49ers...and perhaps football...history. Taylor is best known for his winning 10-yard touchdown pass from Joe Montana during the final seconds of Super Bowl XXIII in 1989. One of the most memorable moments in 49ers history, rivaling even "The Catch" by Dwight Clark. (hence the name "The Catch II"). In his nine NFL seasons, Taylor recorded 347 receptions for 5,589 yards and 43 touchdowns. He also gained 1,517 yards and two touchdowns returning punts, and added another 276 yards returning kickoffs. An NFL Pro Bowler in 1988 and 1989, Taylor has three Super Bowl rings from his years with the Niners - '88, '89 and '94. The SGA UnderFifty Series is our best framed value and a great way to add classic Niners and Niners Moments to your wall at a low cost, this one showcasing a hand-signed 8x10 photo of John making a grab in Super Bowl XXIII.
